Ch. Muhammad Sami Tahir got M.Ed Degree from Institute of Education and Research of the University of the Punjab. He was declared Best Speaker in Govt. High School Kharian. He was declared Best Debater in Urdu in College and in the IER department of the University of the Punjab. He  was selected lecturer of Political Science  by the Punjab Education Department in 1982 and his first appointment was at Govt. College Ali Pur Chatta,  Gujranwala. In 1986 he transferred to Govt. Dayal Singh College, Lahore. He was Promoted Assistant Professor in 1996.
